Valencia is a photographer’s playground, where futuristic architecture meets the soul of a historic Mediterranean city. In this four-day workshop, we immerse ourselves in the sharp contrasts and vibrant light that define this Spanish gem.

From the sweeping, organic curves of the City of Arts and Sciences to the narrow, sun-drenched alleys of the old El Carmen district, we explore how to capture both grand scale and intimate detail. We focus on mastering the "hard" Spanish light, using deep shadows and brilliant colors to create high-contrast compositions that pop.

Drawing on my background in street and portrait photography, I’ll guide you in blending architectural photography with the human element—capturing the locals at the bustling Mercado Central or the quiet rhythm of the Turia Gardens. This trip is about refining your eye to see the dialogue between the old and the new. Together, we will turn the unique atmosphere of Valencia into a compelling visual narrative.
