New York City is the ultimate stage for any photographer—a place where every street corner, skyscraper, and subway station tells a story. In this five-day workshop, we dive headfirst into the relentless energy of the "City that Never Sleeps" to capture its iconic skyline and its intimate, human moments.
From the architectural grandeur of the Flatiron Building and the high-altitude views of the Top of the Rock to the gritty, artistic charm of Brooklyn, we explore the city’s incredible diversity. We focus on mastering the dramatic interplay of light and shadow between the canyons of Manhattan and the soft, golden hour glow over the High Line.
Drawing on my background in street photography and journalism, I will help you navigate the fast-paced rhythm of the sidewalks. We’ll practice the "art of the candid," learning how to photograph the diverse faces of New Yorkers and the cinematic atmosphere of the city streets. This trip is about more than just the landmarks; it’s about finding your own visual voice in the world’s most photographed city.
